Where it began
Born from harness expertise
The BAYCAT Harness was originally inspired by our sister company, BAYDOG — the harness experts. For years they've designed gear for the adventure-minded, including a popular lightweight step-in harness made for smaller dog breeds.
Then something interesting happened. Cat owners began buying those small dog harnesses for their cats and sharing their adventures online. As cat owners ourselves, we couldn't stop noticing — and we had to ask a simple question.
Why were so many cat owners using dog harnesses for their cats? The answer became BAYCAT.
